The Pressure

What this sector is up against.

  • Refining, terminal and processing assets carry large, non-negotiable loads and very expensive downtime.
  • Turnaround periods create sharp temporary power requirements that the site's own supply cannot cover.
  • Electrification and emissions commitments are pulling in opposite directions from reliability requirements.

How We Fit

This is our own operating environment. We run a refinery, so we understand turnaround planning, permit-to-work, hazardous area classification and the difference between a specification and a preference. We supply power, heat and fuel into the same site.
